Maybe you have already noticed that there's a checkbox with a text to clarify that your GDPS download contains third-party software.

What we mean with "Third-party software" is what kind of software has been added/modified from the GD DLLs or executables folder (for the PC download) or if you have modified the original APK for any other purpose besides creating a GDPS version for Android.

You must check that checkmark if your GDPS contains any other software (.exe, .dlls, or any other kind of modifications to the original game which are not related to the creation of a GDPS), as of the situations mentioned before.

If your GDPS contains third-party software and the checkbox wasn't checked and/or the software results in a harmful threat to the players' devices, your GDPS will be automaticly removed from the marketplace and your account resulting disabled/banned/removed.
Maybe you have already read that on the Edit or GDPS page. This is just a little indicator that says if the servers are OK or not. There are four possible statuses: Server's OK, degraded performance, partial or major outage and under mainteinance.

Please note this is indicated by the GDPS owner in the editor page, this indicator is not linked directly to the GDPS servers, in other words, it is set manually so it might take some time to the owner to notice about the issue and update its status.

This won't either ensure in a 100% it is the real status of the server. Maybe the owner doesn't use that editor feature, so pelase be aware of this.

Regarding all GDPS owners, please, use this feature as it might be a reference to your GDPS players to get to know any issue happening at the moment, even though GDPS Discord servers exist, thanks for reading.
Simply be respectful, don't start conversations in the comments and don't ask for support using the comments. Comments were not thought for chitchat between other users nor asking the owner for support.

They shall only be used to express your thoughts about that specific GDPS, or to give feedback (always with love and respect, swearing isn't needed) to the owner in order to improve.

Sending links or contact info (even if it's yours) is absolutely forbidden.
If you are the owner of a GDPS and want to set a video as a trailer to show to all your future players, go to your Profile > Your GDPSs > Edit. Scroll down and you will find a textbox with the label "GDPS Trailer video". Now get the YouTube URL from your video, you may get two possible links:
youtu.be/EKvC_v2qQjQ or youtube.com/watch?v=EKvC_v2qQjQ
Regardless whatever link type you have got, you MUST only paste the video ID. The video ID is the series of letters and special characters at the end of the URL, in this example, the video ID would be "EKvC_v2qQjQ", the text that has to be pasted into the GDPS Hub Edit page textbox, any other method will fail.

If your the YouTube video player shows an error when displayed in the page of your GDPS, make sure on YT Studio that the trailer video allows embedding. This is a key feature to make this work, otherwise, YouTube will block playing the video on our website.
GDPS Hub Switcher produces you the executable file (.exe) needed to run the game. That's really the only file modified to "modify" the game and connect it to the GDPS servers instead of Rob's. Thereby, you can use your regular GD folder with all the DLL and resources needed by Geometry Dash, and replace only the file that's needed (the .exe), by pasting it into the folder, without any further addo.

The issue with this is that you're remaking the GDPS download package in some way, but instead you use your local GD files. This means that if the owner of the private server decided to include a custom Discord Rich Presence, custom NoClip or whatever tools that can't be found in the regular GD files, you wouldn't use them unless you directly download the GDPS package from their GDPS page (gdpshub.com/gdps/xxxx).

Therefore, we want to address the use of this is completely beneficial and recommended, but it is important to take into account that you may be missing some stuff made by the owners because of not download the whole GDPS. This won't mean anything bad but the worsen of your experience playing.
